Susan T. Calhoun, Ph.D. graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Calhoun received her doctorate degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1983.

Following graduation, she opened a private practice in Tampa Bay where she provided psychotherapy, evaluation, and consultation services. In 2007 Dr. Calhoun returned to her home state of South Carolina where she works as the staff psychologist at Bariatric Solutions. Dr. Calhoun provides pre-surgical psychological evaluations, counseling services, and facilitates support groups at Bariatric Solutions.
